  Actually, a game called summer carnival recca 92 was released in the end of NES life, and is the fastest game of NES, even faster than Sonic

  The genius that was Bioforce Ape was that it was supposed to be a game that could reconfigure levels... that is why it is split into fourths... <br><br>To offer a new experience for each time it powers off.

  There were still NES games coming out in 1992 that I missed out on because I upgraded systems. With impressive sound and graphics like Power Blade 2, Felix the Cat &amp; Mega Man 4,5,6

  At least it had a map. Metroid looked mostly the same everywhere, and you had no map to help you out.

  At the title screen, the ape reminds me of the Ultimate Warrior. Then he starts busting out the wrestling moves and the game itself is insane. It makes me wonder at least.
