Full transparency y'all, we bought this Airspool Solar Minisplit with our own money AND THEN we believed in it so much that we hounded the Airspool team and convinced them to allow us to be ambassadors for the product. This has been life changing not only for the solar aspect, but the ease of installation AND customer service!<br><br>So I got y'all a discount code!<br><br>Save $130 OFF any order over $1500 with our Exclusive Code: BetterTogether<br><br>Just use the link (<a href="https://airspool.com/bettertogether)">https://airspool.com/bettertogether)</a> and run your air conditioning with solar!

Great video. Ordered one myself, should be arriving in the next day or two. Super excited. The customer service and communication throughout the entire process has been outstanding! Thanks Airspool! 🍻

I installed a 12000btu unit and 1200w solar. I'm in the UK and we have a heat wave now. Running at zero electric from the mains, i can see a lot of people doing this.

I got an airspool unit, I love it. It keeps my camper cool and warm. Amazing customer support. <br>I have mine plugged into a Apex 300 "solar generator". So it runs off its solar during the day and pulls off the battery at night.

I’m impressed. My shop needs this- I Have a stump grinding business and the tool grinder will operate longer and more efficiently sharpening the teeth if cooler in the shop. <br>But thats not my end goal- I want at LEAST 2 of these in the main area of my house so the whole house A/C will not run all day and night. <br>Convincing the wife is goal

Its pretty cool that it only takes 800W of solar to more or less remove the mains requirement for a mini-split for most of the day. I would prefer something that also includes lugs for a battery to save up excess solar and then continue running the unit into the evening without needing the mains. But it's still a pretty good cost saver as-is.<br><br>To make it permanent, a couple of permanent residential panels on the building or on a Pergola or something and then just let the savings accrue.<br><br>-Matt

Ridged lines are absolutely terrible for condensation because water, even though you're told it runs all the way through, it will sit in those grooves and over time can cause mold and create a bigger issue for you. Down the road.... but so far since i'm just now watching this video, everything looks pretty cool. We'll see how it goes to the end

I’m very impressed with this unit. I’ve self installed 8 mini splits, all doing great. I love the idea of solar powered though. Would be so easy to add panels in. I’m assuming with no battery, there’s no AC at night. But that’s easily fixed.

I want to do something similar, but am struggling to find the required starting surge. Do inverter heat pumps require the monstrous surge (locked rotor) seem in older technology?
