  We didn’t have time to go over every detail or myth in the video, so we put together this FAQ to hopefully cover anything that might be missing:<br><br>Q: What about the eyes and tongues missing? (added)<br>A: Only Lyudmilla and Semyon were missing their eyes, and only Lyudmilla was missing her tongue. For Semyon, it was likely just animals, as there are marks around the eyes. It’s a common thing for bodies in the wild. For Lyudmilla, we address that here along with her tongue (likely it was because her face decomposed in the water): <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FMwltCG56Q&amp;t=3575">59:35</a> <br><br>Q: Why were hikers’ skin discolored?<br>A: Most of the skin was described as tan and brown, some blue and red. Later reports have changed it to ‘orange’. Some thought this meant radiation or poisoning. But it’s caused by being exposed to the elements. Windburn, freezing temperatures, and likely extreme sunburn due to the high altitude.<br><br>Q: Why did officials tell people to not drink from nearby wells after the incident?<br>A: There’s no documentation showing this. It’s a myth.<br><br>Q: Why were animals found dead in the area?<br>A: While tied to the above myth, there was a fairly common epidemic of an infectious disease killing cattle around the time in the area, which some may have erroneously associated with the incident.<br><br>Q: What about the photo of the orb?<br>A: On frame 34 (the last frame) of Krivonishenko’s camera, there’s a blurry white orb. This is just a photo taken by the lab technician so they could rewind the film. It’s likely caused by the lens being partially covered, not focused on anything, or the lens being off the camera.<br><br>Q: Did Yuri Doroshenko fall from the cedar tree?<br>A: There’s no evidence he had any falling injuries.<br><br>Q: Why was there grey liquid around Yuri Doroshenko’s mouth?<br>A: Some suspect it’s due to poisoning or a fall. But the liquid is commonly a sign of hypothermic lung edema, which can be caused by extreme hypothermia.<br><br>Q: Why were there clothes high up in the cedar tree branches?<br>A: There were no clothes in the cedar tree. However, there were clothes around the cedar tree area. Likely caused by switching out clothes or taking clothes off of the two bodies, as mentioned in the video.<br><br>Q: Why were there clothes found at the den?<br>A: Many of those clothing items were found on top of the branches of the shelter floor, likely used as seats while in the den.<br><br>If you still have any unanswered questions, feel free to ask them below!

  Something about the prospect of them dying a slow, excruciating death while staying calculated, rational and composed, and doing literally everything in their power to survive, is so much more upsetting to me than the &quot;conflict&quot; or &quot;madness&quot; theories.

  Good explanation, but you left out the part about how heat from a UFO engine melted and weakened the ice so Bigfoot could push it down hill, starting the avalanche. And the next day Chupacabra came and ate all their eyeballs while Mothman watched and cheered him on.

  The amount of willpower to keep persevering and fighting to live is definitely something those people should be remembered for. It’s truly unfortunate to have those chain of events to happen.

  What scares me the most about this case is that all of the Russian’s in the group were extremely skilled and talented with anything to do with the wilderness.

  I appreciate the humanization of the hikers. It is something that is important that gets thrown to the wayside in older cases like these.
