  Personally the Abaddon recton makes him less imposing. Him losing each time but getting closer to his ultimate goal made him seem like genuine military genius that he was learning from his failures and changing his strategy. Him losing on purpose made him look more like a Mary sue than anything else.

  how about the fact that sisters of battle get to retain their physical humanity and dont have to become walking frankenstien tanks? They just get powers for their faith essentially. Thats pretty cool and far better of a fate imo
