The beginner/intermediate tips are very familiar to me. My Filipino mom follows a lot of these and reminds me frequently. Always dry my hair well before going out, don't shock my system with drinks that are too cold in the morning. We always have a pot of ginger ready for tea in the morning. All things passed down by her grandma.

I like the way you broke these into beginner/intermediate/advanced and explained the principles behind them. Helps me better understand what my mom has been telling me all along :)

I just learned as a Turkish, I'm Chinese! I've been practicing everything in this list. Starting the day with warm turkish tea. Always wearing slippers and believing you'll get cramps on your period if you don't. Drying your hair, if not you'll get sick. Starting dinner with a hot soup first..
Those things are passed down for generations... no one knows why, we just follow the rules..

As an acupuncturist a lot of my patients have cold feet, cold hands and digestive issues; I always took time and educate them the concept of eating warm or cooked foods, no cold drinks or icy drinks. The TCM spleen process foods and fluids, if is taxed it transforms to damp and it causes many issues in the body. Ginger tea will help warm up and put some fire in the digestive system 15 min prior consuming salad.

I started learning TCM so I would be qualified to teach Tai Chi.
Tai Chi is often prescribed as a Medicine!
I love to study the energetic differences of Men and Women. I have a great book on Obstetrics/Gynecology. I have a decent TCM library now. I know a bunch of women who are regulars with the UTIs. Also, my sister had horrible Menstrual Pain!

Reinforcing these basics I have been learning.
I took a Tangent Today and started reading a new Book I just got on the Psyche in TCM!
It goes into exhaustive detail about some basic concepts.
I got a Book on Diagnosis, one on Treatment with Acupuncture and Herbs, and I am waiting on Meridians and Points! Peace.

A lot of the beginner tips are the same things my Nonna recommended, from Italian folk medicine! I think there's something to it, she lived a long and healthy life. Thank you for sharing!

a couple of these tips are familiar to me and make me want to lean into TCM! growing up in the deep south my family taught us to dry our hair and wear socks before bed to keep ourselves from getting sick. even in this hot and humid climate there was always an emphasis on keeping warm and keeping your flow moving.❤

This was so succinct and helpful. Can you do a future focusing on TCM focusing on herbal soups and teas and lifestyle practices for women wellness?

Alot of your tips were taught to me by my acupuncturist. Great reminder to keep it up, or be more thorough on what i sometimes practice. Thank You for the presentation and look forward to more.

Hi, I’ve just found your super channel this morning. You give a lot of really helpful ways to move our energy. One thing I would mention, it would be so much calmer to listen to you, if you spoke more slowly. I find this quick talking quite draining of my energy, just to follow along. New subscriber with thanks 😊
