Story error....author meant 60 units of weight in alien units; by appearance....a bag of feathers looks heavy, but is actually very light. This is the the reverse. Like looking at a cubic foot of something and estimating it's weight, assuming it's similar to cork or balsa wood, when it is actually the density of iron or lead.

I think that if floor is built so flimsy that it would crack or break if it weighed 10 times that of an average lifeform then their buildings or space stations would be doomed to break apart far too easily to make it years or decades intact.<br>Some furniture or heavy appliances or equipment in our world can easily weigh a ton, and that does not usually break the floor.<br><br>So such scenarios as described here just feel so unrealistic and does not trigger "suspension of disbelief" effect that makes fictive worlds feel believable or real.

whats with the rubbish background , absolutly no relationship to the story , I tend not to listen to these because of the distraction of the streetscape type backgrounds , try a static relevant picture , much more interesting
