  On a Celebrity Cruise last year with my wife and kids.  I was riding the elevator with the kids  when the captain and a few officers got on headed up to the buffet.  In making conversation with us my daughter mentioned that we were celebrating my wife’s birthday.  The captain asked our room number and later that evening we had a complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us and a hand written note from the captain wishing her a happy birthday.  We weren’t asking for it, my daughter was just being her friendly self talking to anyone who talks to her.  It was a very nice touch.

  My shoe broke badly (the bottom of my platform broke off) on Odyssey and I asked Guest Services for glue. They took my shoes and the carpenter on board repaired it free of charge. They showed up later that night in my room!  Amazing.

  My suitcase got ripped after I passed it off while boarding and I reported it to guest services. They were unable to repair it and an hour later I returned to my room with a brand new, much higher quality suitcase as a replacement 🙏

  A robe is one of my first requests too! There’s something about having morning coffee and breakfast on the balcony in a robe that makes the whole cruise feel ten times more relaxing. ☕🚢

  I was recently on the Icon of the Seas and I wanted blueberry muffins for breakfast. I saw that they didn’t have any so I asked and an executive chef made a call to the kitchen and had 4 blueberry muffins made for me in 12 minutes.

  When cruising out of galveston on liberty of the seas a few years ago, i mentioned to my waiter, who was from india how much I loved indian food. Every single night in addition to the entree, I ordered, he brought me the crew indian meal cooked by the crew chef. This was before they had indian dishes on the menu in the regular rotation. It was delicious and I enjoyed that he enjoyed watching me love the food of his country.

  My boyfriend and I took our first cruise on the Rhapsody and they had this mixed berry compote for breakfast at the buffet that we both LOVED. We then sailed on the Oasis a year later and they didn&apos;t have it, my boyfriend mentioned it to the waiter that came to our table to ask how the food was and he actually got the chefs there to make a compote and it was on a special plate ready each morning after that. They are INCREDIBLY accommodating

  Tip I have is - if you have a beverage package- let your waiter know on night 1. They enjoy surprising with fun drinks.

  The one thing I always ask for is a robe. It’s nice to sit out on the balcony eating breakfast with a fluffy robe on.
