I’ve never heard anyone, military or civilian, complain about being shot by a rifle that cost less than $2,000. The only ones mocking so-called "cheap rifles" or using terms like “poverty pony or budget rifles” are the ones on a payroll from gun manufacturers.

Let’s be real: the U.S. military has been putting people down with what some would call a “poverty pony” for over a century. Effectiveness doesn’t come with a price tag, it comes with reliability.

I bought a Rock River Arms LAR-15 years ago and it's been reliable through thousands of rounds and it's never failed me. No FTE or FTF ever!

I got myself a Smith and Wesson M&P-15 Sport II. Since it was my first gun in 5.56/.223 I got it so I could buy a ton of ammo for it. Low Wage People deserve to have guns as much as a person who can afford a $1,000-$3,000 gun.

Andro Corp ACI 15 is one of the most accurate AR’s made. The 1:7 twist that likes heavy ammo stands to reason, but it’s a very affordable alternative to DD, LMT, LWRC, etc.

I own a AR556 Rugar and the price was $812 as it's worth a little more as I added a $300 scope on it.

The Colt rifles are very hard to best. They may be somewhat dated in terms of furniture however they're dead reliable and will last forever. They're like the Honda Foreman's, or the Glocks of the AR15 world.

I would add Andro Corp Industries built AR's to this list. Well made weapons at good prices.

Maybe I don’t know much about AR’s but my Diamond Back runs…and it runs HARD. Since out of the box it’s been solid, clean and dirty. Cost me $485 plus tax and a background check $517 total. The mil spec charging handle was my only issue. Swop it for the Radian! 💯
