  If she was held 5 hours longer, she’d be alive. I hope every single person in this case is haunted by it. This is their fault

  I'm barely halfway through and already I'm furious at how the police "handled" this. Black queer women are treated absolutely abhorrently, especially when going through a mental health episode. My heart truly goes out to her family. I'm so furious.

  Oh boy. It’s THIS case. Yall gonna need a bigger botched board. <br><br>There’s no evidence of anything in this case because the police couldn’t be bothered to collect any. <br><br>They caused this young woman to die. They may not have killed her directly but in my mind they are entirely responsible.

  It makes me so mad how the police handled this case. Poor girl, she obviously was struggling mentally. This could&apos;ve all been avoided. I thought last case was bad

  I live in the lost hills sheriff jurisdiction and have had my own issues with them. I came home to my babysitter 3xs the legal limit, my baby was 1. She was arrested for DUI (she left my house) and child endangerment. <br><br>Later that night a deputy called my cellphone and tried to convince me that the young, (white, blonde) girl was VERY sorry. And I shouldn’t press charges. That she seemed very remorseful. It was so odd and left such a bad taste in my mouth. He kept trying to tell me that she was so upset when they arrested her.. I was like well no 💩. <br><br>It was just a gross display of privilege.

  I have Bipolar 1 disorder and I have experienced psychosis numerous times. It is terrifying and I would never wish it on anyone

  I’ve worked in restaurants my whole life. They absolutely could have and should have taken her credit card info over the phone. I’ve done it to hold to-go orders before. It really isn’t a big deal, especially in this kind of scenario. Also I was waiting tables in 2009 so it isn’t a time thing. This woman going through a mental health crisis was completely failed. I feel for her and her family. Her family deserves more than $900,000.
