  Axl is way too underrated, he had one bad game (X7), one good game (Command Mission), and one okay game (X8).

  I like the person you think that Lumine's attack corrupted Axl's system and it eventually transformed him into Master Albert from Mega Man ZX Advent. The A in Model A was never short for Albert it's short for Axl, Model Axl!

  Axl is the Silver The Hedgehog of the Mega Man series. The new kid on the block. Meant to replace and stand equal to the main title character. Instead, like Silver, his debut game was a disaster and it fast tracked him on a one way ticket to limbo. And he’s been there (22 years) ever since.

  A Mega Man chapter being stuck in limbo is nothing new for Capcom. Us Legends fans have been living on cope for about 25 years.

  In MMX4, one of the flashbacks for Zero showed his forehead crystal was cracked back when he was a maverick. That alone shows it's possible to survive a forehead crack

  What surprised me is how capcom. Introduced the public with Axl and still have him be  playable already the first time. When Proto Man or Zero let alone Knuckles from Sonic was shown. It took time for players to finally play them..

  He is like the Protoman of New Generation Reploids. Not quite as popular as Protoman but, there is storyline potential if Capcom decides to move the X-series forward someday.

  I mean, he wasn't really forgotten so much as he only appeared in two games, with top billing in the first to be fair, but the second he was just unusual from the extended cast because he was playable. And Mega Man 8 didn't sell nearly as well as they wanted, after 7's...unique challenges. I can still hear that Hyena's voice. My ears.

  I take issue with how you say Lumine. It hurts my soul. ;w;<br><br>In the Mega Man comics, there&apos;s a short story where Dr Light has visions of the future, seeing flashes of the Mega Man X games and the Elf Wars. In the page showing the Elf Wars, we see Axl helping X and Zero fight Omega, so I&apos;m taking that as a sign that Axl lived long enough to make it to that point, but I don&apos;t think he survived. Also there&apos;s no way that Medal A <b>isn&apos;t</b> our boy in ZX, like c&apos;mon. Also, I kinda wish we had more interactions with certain characters in DiVE outside of the game-exclusive cast- like hey, we only know what&apos;s going on thanks to Axl showing up and explaining what the bad guys are after. Kind of a missed opportunity if you ask me, considering he&apos;s the first to come to the Player&apos;s side at the start of the game.<br><br>It&apos;s not clear how much Lumine affected Axl, though the whole &quot;making Axl into a trojan horse&quot; thing you suggested would make sense. Lumine sees the Oldtype Reploids as tools of inferior humans, while Newtype Reploids are, in his mind, superior- why not use the only one fighting on the side of humanity to further his plot as a plan B? Axl already gets the &quot;White Axl&quot; form in Command Mission, so I&apos;m hoping that meant Capcom was hoping to do something with it eventually.
