You've gotta love the comments on videos like this. The guy treks miles in the freezing cold with hardly any kit, builds a shelter out of some rocks and a sheet and there's people digging him out for bringing a few bits of wood. Have a day off, lads 🤣.

A friend of mine was walking with the cover off of his axe, tripped on a root, fell and landed on his axe just below his right knee. Thought he'd gotten lucky and it was a shallow cut. Only problem is 4 days later it's septic and gangrenous. Lost his leg over a careless scratch.😢

Easier to just apologise to the wife and go home. ✌️🇬🇧

The draft is so strong that all the heat is being pulled out of the shelter. The outside of the fireplace needs to be built up to slow the draft and preserve heat from the fire and, eventually, the hot rocks.

It would appear, that you were familiar with the area, and had a good idea as to how to build your hideaway. Definitely a cozy little place!

That's very impressive. No fancy gear, just keeping it real, cold and rough.

You did as good as you could making a shelter with not much to work with. Kudo's to you!

That was a very enjoyable video. Would love to see about 40 to 45 minutes, I love these clean speech-free videos. Great job!
