FBI Agent Says Caleb Flynn's Girlfriend Was Inititally 'Not Truthful' About Affair

Sarah Deamron has been a special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation since 2015 after working for the U.S. Secret Service. She testified in Caleb Flynn's trial today (Wednesday, September 23) about her work in the investigation into the Feb. 16, 2026, shooting death of Ashley Flynn in her home in Tipp City, Ohio, including interviewing Flynn's girlfriend, who Deamron said initially lied about her relationship with Flynn. 01:36 "When I arrived on scene, I observed that the scene was still secured. By that I mean that there was police tape around the residence. There was an officer out front who was keeping a diligent log of individuals entering and exiting the residence." 01:54 "When I entered the scene, I first kind of got a lay of the land. So I walked in, observed to my left of the entryway, front entryway, a office that appeared to be a music room of some sorts, couch and various music items. Directly in front of me was the living room, and then off to the left of the living room, the kitchen area and dining room. Off to the right of the entryway, directly back was a bathroom, and then two what appeared to be children's bedrooms on either side of that bathroom." "As I walked through the residence, through the living room, through the kitchen, directly behind the kitchen was a laundry room, and on either side of the laundry room were a master bedroom, which had a master bathroom, and then to the left was a hallway that led to the garage." 02:51 "As I walked down the hallway and entered into the garage, I observed a large garage door. There were two vehicles, a truck and a minivan, and then off to the left, a pedestrian exit door that exited out into the lawn from the garage." 03:07 "Can you describe the condition of that door when you first observed it?" "When I first observed it, there was a large standing refrigerator that was slightly pushed off to the side. The door was open, and the deadbolt to the door was in the unlocked position in the door." 04:10 "So when I looked at the door frame itself, several things stood out. The strike plate that affixes to the door where the deadbolt would turn in was not affixed to the door. I had later been informed by BCI and through photos that that had been discovered outside of the residence on the ground near, I think, a trash can" "But looking at the locking mechanism itself, there appeared to be what I would describe as gouge marks near the deadbolt, where the deadbolt would affix to the door. What was interesting about the marks, based off of my training and experience of observing doors that have been kicked in, was the trim itself is was affixed with trim nails." "And typically, when a door is forced open, the trim will be pushed in or separate slightly from the door, and in this instance, when I looked at the trim, there were gouge marks also on site on the trim, and the gouge marks were inside of the garage, on the portion of the frame when in the garage when you would exit, so they weren't on the outside portion of the door, so that stood out as significant to me. Also, what I noted while looking at the frame at the garage floor inside of the garage, there appeared to be several wood chips that appeared as though they had come from the frame itself, where the marks had been made." 07:04 "What did you and TFA Farkas do after locating Alleigha?" "We asked if Alleigha would join us at the Tipp City Police Department. She acquiesced, and her and her sibling were driven to the Tipp City Police Department for an interview." However, during the course of the interview, Alleigha did describe her relationship with Caleb Flynn." 09:55 "How would you compare her truthfulness during the second interview compared to the first?" "Any relationship?" "She denied having a sexual relationship or an intimate relationship with Caleb Flynn." "At that point in time, did you already know that she was being untruthful to you?" "Yes." 18:03 "We had a text message that had been acquired from Ashley's cell phone that had indicated that there was not a that there was a contentious relationship between her and Ashley."
