BTW the only song that isn't allowed on YouTube is guilty all the same, so the audio might sound bad there, just had to be done to get the whole video up!

I call this Rob's album. He definitely shines in this one. The drums are incredible on every track.

Fun fact: Chester was the one who wrote War. He wrote the lyrics in 5 minutes. And Rob Bourdon (the drummer) recorded the whole drums in one session.

A line in the sand is probably the best metal song they've ever written imo.

Until It's Gone is a gem indeed, and Rebellion is like a System of a Down feat. LP song.

And no Tom Morello is a guitarrist, he was in Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave and Prophets of the Rage, the one on the piano is always Mike.

Edit: I think they wanted to show they can be as or more heavy than in the HT and Meteora eras but at the same time, keeping all what they were experimenting from MTM and then

If any other band came out with this album in 2014 I think it would be known as a classic today, this album is incredible.

The next album ( One More Light) will indeed be sad and emotional. Is not heavy in a music sense but is heavy lyricly and emotionally. Beautiful and sad at the same time.

The Hunting Party is without a doubt the most elaborate album on the LP. I love Hybrid Theory and Meteora because they were the CDs of my childhood and adolescence, but THP is beautiful in every way.
