Auto is tough because though accidents are down , maybe, the cost of body work are now very crazy plus the use of so much electronics means cars get scrapped rather than repaired. Covid patterns of travel screwed up the data

Hi Steve, I think it would be useful to devote an episode or a portion of one to the future of flood and fire insurance and other types of insurance as climate calamities accelerate in severity and frequency… Get an expert on climate on who knows the data and the risks

The question is where to hide if we have a market or AI selloff. Travelers has a 17% profit margin, 27% ROE, 46% earnings growth, 10 p/e, low payout ratio. I am tempted to diversify right here.

Reinsurance is interesting to me because it is un correlated to other classes of investments. Large casualty event events don’t happen instinct with economic site.
