In 1966 I was 14 and Living in New York. A kid told me he was going to burn his Beatle Records. I told him, give them to me I'm going to burn mine to. Fifty-Eight years Later, I still have them. LOL :face-blue-smiling:

I firmly believe what John Lennon was trying to imply that to the youth of that time, the Beatles were more popular than going to church.

Why should popularity be the basic measure of the value of their religious figure? Being a leader of right over wrong means telling people things that are frequently going to be unpopular. And you cannot compare the sort of popularity an entertainer achieves with the popularity of a spiritual ideal or religion.
