  One thing I always do if I stay at the hotel or hostel is to take the business card from that establishment with me. This makes it easier to show drivers or whoever where you’re actually staying when necessary.

  This probably won't reach anyone anymore, but: Flushable wipes AREN'T flushable usually. They still cause issues in plumbing and sewage.

  Another great video as usual!  I would add, carry an extra AirTag or 2. On a recent trip my husband required a visit to the ER and was disoriented. We were separated once we arrived at the hospital. Prior to the ambulance arriving I put an AirTag on him. I was able to track his whereabouts until I was allowed to see him. He has since fully recovered.

  Overnight flights to Europe often have me landing at the destination in the early morning hours. I booked my hotel for the night before, informed the hotel that I wouldn't be checking in until 6 am the next morning, and then my hotel room was waiting for me when I got off the plane. This gave me a comfortable place to take a shower and get settled after a long flight, rather than waiting for the typical check-in time in the afternoon. Yes, it costs one more day of hotel fees, but the comfort was worth it for me. I confirmed with my hotel before that I wouldn't be checking in at night but in the morning, both by phone and by email.

  I always bring an extra phone (older one that I no longer use) in case I lose or break my phone. I can always get a local Sim card to get by with that for the rest of the trip

  For checking whether your baggage fits the airline's baggage size, it's always better to check on that airline's website as they may update it and third party sites may not always have up-to-date information on that.

  I have had issues with water in various countries. For my next trip, I chose to buy a Lifestraw that backpackers use. It comes in its own protective sleeve and doesn't add anything to one's carry-on. I also bought the Lifestraw water bottle. Check for sales because they are a little expensive.

  Good job at your age. I am 70 and have traveled in my work for 40 years visiting importers in 30 countries twice a year so I have done most of your tips for a long time and there is still more to learn.

  Agree on a meeting place to meet if you are seperated.  Make a rule such as meeting at the place you entered or where you arrived on bus/metro/taxi etc if you get seperated.
