  He once stopped to give me a lift to London whilst i was hitchhiking. He drove an old jaguar, was only interested in what i was doing and gave me 5 pounds ' to find some mischief' as he said. Dropped me off in soho saying ' this would be a good place to start'. Wonderful memories, wonderful man.

  Born at the right time of glamour and excess where the dapper English gentleman could make his mark - it's just sad he's no longer around

  The times make the man.. Regarding Niven it produced a true patriot, gentlemen/leader & such a talented actor 💯

  He's someone I think the younger generation should discover as his charm, storytelling and his life in general is universally fascinating.

  Who doesn’t love  David Niven in everything? Can anyone compare him to anyone else? He exhibits electric class. To this day!
