You couldn't even get me to visit the UAE, let alone Afghanistan. My uncle, who worked for Halliburton in the UAE, was in a horrific motorcycle accident. They lighflighted him to a us military hospital, his wife was not allowed to leave for weeks until Halliburton paid the UAE a ransom for her passport. No, thank you.
