Even in the poor areas, most people stay away from drugs and gangs. A small minority can destroy an area. Liverpool had plenty good people

Message to young kids, go to school, speak properly, be polite, go to college, don't touch drugs or any crime, find a nice girl, be happy with what you have, be lucky, walk away from a fight. I did this and have a boring job but I have a great safe life with a future, you only have one chance, once you go to jail your life is as good as over.

You do not owe your kids new fancy tracksuits, you owe them a fair shot at life and that translates into love, a safe place at home, setting an example by holding a job, discipline and last but definitely not least proper education. Which is of course much more of an effort than buying stupid status symbols from time to time. <br>The tracksuits barely fit your kids for two years while education empowers them to leave poverty legally and safely by their own means and will help them for decades. <br>Status symbols ain't worth crap for kids. Family and education are the keys.
