My Hero Academia is a horribly dystopic universe since it takes more than 150 to 160 years into the future yet League of Legends still exists.

The quirk being a part of the users personality is a great way to explain why all for one has that need of power

I wonder if Tomura Shigaraki coined the term ''Leage of vilains'' because he was a League of Legends fan.

Minas pink skin and black eyes are a result of Acid built up inside her, during the War when she uses her quirk more than she ever had before we see parts of her skin turn normal and her eyes turn normal

On the "Deku had a quirk" theory; I remember when reading the manga at the time, one of Dr Garaki's early appearances was him complaining to All for One about "if only we had gained Super Regeneration sooner" when discussing how badly AfO had been injured during his fight against All Might. I don't believe the series ever gave a timeline for this fight... but back then I thought it would have been amazing dramatic irony for this to have been Izuku's quirk.

As a child it wouldn't have been the easiest quirk manifestation to spot. It could play into the expression of "Deku" and Izuku's resilient personality in general. And it would have made for an excellent character moment. Imagine a scene where AfO reveals that he stole Izuku's quirk. Laughing at him for all the struggles he had to endure, both growing up quirkless and breaking his body to learn One For All (something it would have been very compatible with) and thanking him for providing such an essential component for his Nomu creations. It would have made the fight against AfO very personal for Deku, something many felt was missing. IIRC, there was some fan talk around that time theorizing that AfO was actually Deku's dad for that same reason.

My theory is that quirks originated from a global genetic stress event, such as a novel virus, mutagen, or environmental disaster, that destabilized a specific region of human DNA now known as the Quirk Factor. Rather than creating powers outright, this instability caused heritable biological mutations that manifested as specialized organs and energy-consuming abilities, explaining why quirks are physical, strain the body, and pass through generations. Early quirk users gained major survival and social advantages during a period of chaos, accelerating natural selection and allowing quirks to spread rapidly through the population. As different quirk genes interbred over generations, their effects compounded instead of stabilizing, leading to stronger, more volatile abilities and the looming quirk singularity. The true origin was likely downplayed or obscured by authorities to prevent panic or accountability, leaving quirks publicly framed as a natural evolutionary step rather than the result of an unprecedented genetic disruption. But hey it's just a theory A GAME THEORY

Movies are definitely canon. All of the major ‘ally’ characters from the movies are shown in one of the final episodes of the anime cheering on Midoriya, plus spin-off manga like Team-Up Missions which are considered canon contain chapters with the movie characters too.

About the toe thing with Quirkless... You touched on it at one point, but it's not that Quirkless have an 'extra joint', it's that those with Quirks have one less joint. Two joints in the pinky toe is the ancestral state - that is, it's the baseline, and is the common state today. Although, as you pointed out, it is starting to be phased out, evolutionarily speaking.

quirk singularity can be as simple as humans drifting too far apart from each other genetically so they no longer can have children with one another

Okay, All Might's vestige is like that because he is still alive. This is a plot hole, but one that can be chalked up to: fuck it, it doesn't need to make sense, they're ghosts.
