Yo.
His voice in the Depression part is similar to the way he sounds in the Depression track on the Demos cd. Its heart breaking to listen to.

Vincent van Gogh spent one year in the mental hospital in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. Despite his unstable mental health, he was very productive: he made about 150 paintings in a year, including Almond Blossom.

Could see your excitement written all over your face before it even started. Sometimes words aren’t needed to share ✌️💕

I can remember Ren saying he’d been having lots of fun playing with a whammy bar, back then. 999 is emergency number here, and red and blue kaleidoscope is police lights.

Great reaction!! ❤ Good call on van Gogh spending time in an institution…..
If you look at the opening scene, the room he’s in is set up exactly like van Gogh‘s painting The Bedroom. Same as the last painting they show when leaving that scene. 🐐🦄 🫶🏻

Also…… can we give a shoutout to the actor who played Richard!! 😮👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Well done sir!❤

I saw your reaction. Thank you, and allow me to post here what I said on Ren's YouTube channel:

First: Thank you Ren for this work and for this masterpiece! You are unparalleled in the way you pour your introspections, your analysis, and your feeling about the world into these stories and lyrics!

Second: Even as an agnostic, after seeing and hearing yet another marvel of your creation, I simply have to say... You are blessed and a blessing to all who open their ears and eyes wide to see/hear you, "sing" and "show" the world we live in!

Third: I can't help but proclaim loudly... REN is a GOAT in our time. And how fortunate we are to be his contemporaries!

From the bottom of my heart and soul... Thank you.

P.S. Let's not forget your team, they are unparalleled. Thank you to them as well.
