  Another idea behind a6 is that Qb3 does not work because black can now play Na5, which wouldn’t be possible without a6 because of Qb5+.

  I played in a tournament last year and had an opponent play the Panov against me. Unfortunately for him I had watched this video in detail the night before. He got smashed

  Interesting stuff! &nbsp;I found this amazing line where white sacs her queen on move 10, but it is still a dead draw<br><br>1. e4 c6 2. d4 d5 3. exd5 cxd5 4. c4 Nf6 5. Nc3 Nc6 6. Nf3 a6 7. cxd5 Nxd5 8. Bc4 Be69. Ng5 Nxc3 10. Bxe6 Nxd1 11. Bxf7+

  I have a 100% win rate with e4 c6 c4 in tournament games because I&apos;ve studied all the theory but none of my opponents know the theory of the Accelerated Panov. Great video btw!
