This couple's attitude towards this whole incident troubles me. Meaning. They were camping. Nature happens. So when you decided to go camping you do risk getting injured, dirty and soaking wet. That's normal. Instead this couple decided screw that. We're leaving and we are not going to bother about looking for the cellphone. Was he honestly the only one with a cellphone that has a torch? Why couldn't his wife or kids assist in searching for the phone and take photos of the damages inside out? And yes, all guarantees state that a product had to be returned to get refunded. Throwing the tent in a bag and tieing it on the roof of the vehicle would also do.<br><br>Final note, based on the evidence presented, it didn’t rain in. Maybe that too, but the evidence rather suggests that it flooded into the tent suggesting that either the entrance of the tent were facing up hill or they were camping on a spot where the water pooled up a bit, because that's the only way you get that much mud into a tent.

Usually I like this judge but she's preaching to the defendants like it was Noah's flood and they should be happy they escaped with their lives and such. It was heavy RAIN, for Pete's sake. Pretty good ruling, though.
