  In regards to Ellis, I love reading into how he treats the Jimmy Gibs car. In each campaign we see it in after it’s driven out of the mall, it’s constantly in a worse state of disrepair. Not to mention, it’s a ‘70s stock car; the last thing you want to use in a zombie apocalypse, especially if you really do not mind running zombies over. Not even a vehicle fit for the Baja 1000 or Paris Dakar could do that.<br><br><br><br>The fact that it lasted as long as it did tells me that Ellis found the time to periodically run whatever maintenance he could on that Dodge, let alone keep it running 10 miles after they drove it out of the mall. He may not have specialized parts or equipment, but his resourcefulness clearly knows no bounds.<br><br><br><br>Furthermore, the last time we see it is in the opening of Dark Carnival. With the addition of fog lights on the car, it’s guaranteed that Ellis had at least looked under the hood at least once if he had to route the wires for those lights around. The idea of him actually <b>working</b> on the car is definitely not off the table
