I’m just one in the long line of people flocking to the Catholic Church. I haven’t even been confirmed yet and I call myself a Catholic. I’m 51, a retired police detective and a grandfather, I’m starting classes in Biblical theology soon and getting ready for the second chapter in my life. I want to learn all I can and will one day debate these people show them that Jesus started the Catholic Church and it’s the true way.

I recall the passage that said, “Do not give dogs what is sacred, do not cast your pearls before swine. Lest they trample them under their feet and turn and rend you “

You’re right Father, you can’t argue with a crazy person.

I am a revert, too! I became a rabid anti catholic for about two decades. I read many books which grossly oversimplified church history. Studying the first 1,000 years brought me back to the Ancient Church. I was poorly catechized and was an easy mark for Protestantism. I praise Jesus for His mercy. All former Catholics need to come home to the Church!! The FULLNESS of the Faith is here.
Catholicism is so rich in truth, charity
And respecting that there is magnificent mystery to many aspects of our lives and suffering.
The Church was formed in the first century-and organization and structure and liturgy all hammered out well before Protestant revolt. There were indeed members of both the Catholic and Protestant faith that have done great wrongs. Proof of our fragility and weakness and desperate need for God.
I support you very much . I will add you to my rosary!!!

A professor told me once that it wasn't our way to argue proof texts. It's our way to explain and live our faith.

Patrick's Bible study program was found recently to be plagiarized from other sources. So personally Father I think you should mark and avoid because he has a history of blocking comments on X when Catholics defeat his arguments and undermine his misrepresentations of the faith.

Only God can convict their hearts. They need our prayers and our love.
