Yarrick: the Orks gave me the power to kill them? Fabulous! Orks: we gave him the power to kill us? Fabulous!

Yarrick, saint of the Orks, is one of the funniest dumbest most probably cannon things I’ve ever heard

I think we often miss the most interesting part of the Yarrick legend: it isn't just an 'Ork meme' or 'Imperial propaganda'—it’s a rare, unconscious symbiosis between the two.
Yarrick has become a fixed point in the galaxy because both sides need him to be. To the Orks, he is the legendary 'Old Bale Eye,' the ultimate adversary who makes their WAAAGH! meaningful. To the Imperium, he is the 'Hero of Armageddon,' a normal man who proves that a mortal man can stand against the tide.
It’s a perfect feedback loop. The Orks believe he’s unkillable because they never want the 'propa fight' to end. Meanwhile, the humans have built such a massive mythos around him that their collective faith creates its own tangible force of morale and defiance. As the quote goes: 'Yarrick–there's a name even Astartes must respect'—Reclusiarch Grimaldus of the Black Templars.
When you have the most elitist warriors in the Imperium and the most violent Xenos in the galaxy both agreeing that one man is impossible to put down, he stops being just a soldier. He becomes a universal constant of war that neither side is willing to let go of.

At this rate, the Orks will turn him into a perpetual.

Yarrick returning because the orks expected to find him there makes too much sense.

Each of the wars of Armageddon are for the orcs a religious pilgrimage and therefore Yarrick is an ork religious icon, He is an ork saint.

The Orks have three gods, their own Holy Trinity - the Gork, the Mork, and the York

As is only fitting. He and Ghazghkull have the same duality as Gork and Mork. Ghaz is the Cunning Brutality, Yarrick the Brutal Cunning.
