Hope you all enjoy this video edited by @blugenesi!
Now you will notice one cut after The Bear That Wasn't and before the Pogo special. There was a small section on The Grinch
Sadly Warners wouldn't budge on their claim on it. I could have released the video but I couldn't monetise at all.
Thankfully because just about everyone knows of the Grinch so its loss here while annoying doesn't 'ruin' the video
Next up will be a video like this on Tex Avery!
Let me know if you guys enjoy the video!

It's so surreal to know that Chuck Jones got to produce an online flash animation.

My mind is blown learning that Chuck Jones actually did the opening cartoon in Mrs. Doubtfire.

I'm old enough to have seen both "Gay Puree" and "The Phantom Tollbooth" on the big screen, and loving both of them.

Riki-Tiki-Tavi is my favorite of his half hour specials. It's a damn fine adaptation, and scared the hell out of me when I was a kid. His later, post-Warner Bros. Bugs Bunny and Road Runner cartoons were hit-or-miss, but my siblings and I sure appreciated he was still keeping these characters alive and fresh and making new cartoons with them. His Tom and Jerrys were also hit-or-miss, but, hey, A for effort.

22:00 Something to note: the scene of Bugs naming his "fathers' was a direct rebuke of Bob Clampett claiming he was the sole person responsible for Bug's success in the 1975 documentary film "Bugs Bunny: superstar", by in turn crediting everyone that Clampett had removed from those honors while clampett himself was omited.

What's interesting about the 90s LT shorts is, and I only recently found this out, Jones did them because he wanted to provide an opportunity for younger animators to break into the business. I feel like regardless of what one's opinions are on those shorts, knowing that does kinda make them feel a little special.

One of the things he did was travel the world doing speaking gigs. I had the great good fortune to attend one of these at the Westgarth Pictures in Melbourne. Along with a lot of discussion of his classic toons, there was an anecdote he told about flying over the southwest US one time with his wife. Out in the middle of the desert, surrounded by thousands of acres of nothing, his wife spotted an enormous industrial campus. She said to him:
'Look, Chuck! It's the Acme factory!'

I loved Tom and Jerry, and I loved most of Chuck Jones work. However I thought his take on Tom and Jerry was not up tp par. But they were better than what followed for many years.

One the things that go against 70's Looney Tunes is how tired Mel Blanc sounds. Which is so strange because when you listen to him in other, non-WB projects at the time... he sounded no different than before. Even later in the 80's, much more energy.
