  From a senior engineer perspective, this video is priceless to every engineer. The accuracy of using the right engineering terms is impressive, plus the good graphics. Cannot, thank you enough for sharing it. 1000 thumbs up 👍

  engineer here. The amount of work you put into this is astonishing. I couldnt get a team of 5 people to make this model for $100k of man hours. &nbsp;Kudos to your capability.

  If you haven&apos;t already contacted Hoover Dam about selling this to them as part of their &quot;tour&quot;, you need to. &nbsp;As someone else said, I too have watched as many documentaries on the construction of Hoover Dam as I can find and THIS one is by far the most thorough, complete and informative one I&apos;ve seen. &nbsp; Thank you for posting this. &nbsp;Best hour I&apos;ve spent on YouTube all week.

  I’m a professional Tour Guide in Southern Nevada and i’ve been to the dam hundreds of times. Let alone the fact I have been going to Hoover Dam since I was a little kid. I’ve seen every video and read every book about the construction of the Dam. But your video is hands-down the best video of how the Dam works ever created. Congratulations excellent work. I will be sharing this video a lot!

  There are three outstanding top-of-the-line things to mention: 1) All of the massive amounts of math and equations that needed to be figured and calculated for the Hoover Dam were done on slide rules by hand 2) The amount of construction and incalculable number of items needed for the dam came together and worked exceptionally well right from the beginning and 3) The outstanding work of providing this video and its graphics which were mind-boggling on their own.

  This, ladies and gentlemen, is YouTube at its best. &nbsp;No lazy AI, no corporate ownership, no sociopathic profiteering, no ad-reads, no appealing to lowest common denominators, no bucking shulfit. &nbsp;Just a damned talented artist and researcher teaching us something. &nbsp;Is he here to help his career? &nbsp;Impress people? &nbsp;Make chicks dig him? &nbsp;Who cares. &nbsp;I learned far more than whatever it was he could possibly have taken from me, &nbsp;so I&apos;m in. &nbsp;Been subbed for a couple years now, and as far as I&apos;m concerned, Jake&apos;s got my sub for life.

  dude wtf, that was amazing. higher production quality than discovery channel, more educational than pbs, better detail than history channel. 100% acceptable to be shown in a school classroom so kids can actually learn something.
