If you are going to show new products with new innovations like R71 vacuum insulation, we need to know prices to compare our normal used insulation products.

Wow, it’s incredible how good they are getting at justifying a massive price tag

That vacuum sealed stuff is one of those really good ideas in theory that almost certainly won't pan out to work well in reality. I can see that getting damaged just getting it to the spot where you are going to install it. I'm sure it has some applications, but I don't think general construction is one of them.

That R66 would be amazing for an RV!

That R66 product would be cool in a bathroom wall that’s exterior. Just toss it between the studs behind the pipes.

None of this overkill stuff can improve Matt's roof more than going with white, or even silver, vs black in the Texas sun. It's not rocket surgery.

I saw the vacuum panels in a magazine a while back. I know this was like a 1/4 inch thick sheet that was like R21 or so. Anyway it is currently so expensive only the most top end high rise type buildings were using it. Primarily in remodel situations where they have to meet strict energy codes. It is really cool thought.
