I own a massive DVD collection and friends come over to watch them with my family. The irony is that almost two decades ago these were the same friends who didn't understand why I still bought DVDs now that Netflix existed. (I still don't have a Netflix account.)

Someones elses trash is someones treasure. So when streaming services started to take off, we could purchase DVDs for like 1-2$ each everywhere, that's now a treasure trove!

The only reason why they can force this on everyone is because PEOPLE KEEP SUBSCRIBING TO IT. I wish people had some more spine and would stop using these services.

that's so messed up what they are doing. did you know, Netflix first turned to internet streaming because it removed ads, was cheaper than cable and it was extremely convenient.
