  All I needed growing up was cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and whatever channels WWE RAW AND SMACKDOWN were on.

  Cable companies have adapted. Get their cable package for $79.99 and you get all those streaming packages included and then traditional cable networking.

  Streaming was cool when it was new, because it was convenient and on demand. But when they saw we got comfortable with it, they just had to ruin it.

  What I love about shows that are on cable TV is that, unlike streaming, it&apos;s actually guaranteed to get a physical release at some point.

  The problem is the people that stay with the services and allow them to get away with it... if everybody truly voted with their wallet, then they would have to change

  Fantastic video. Except it wasn’t really “cable.” You were talking about the broadcast network tv model. With cable as a platform for syndication. Broadcast tv was and still is FREE. Add a basic cable package for $30 and you were golden. Plus the option of buying a vhs or dvd. Hollywood killed its own industry.
