  What an absolutely disgusting woman. I appreciate that the intercourse between Pamala and Billy was always labeled as assault and rape, since he was manipulated and couldn’t consent because he was a minor. Some people genuinely can’t comprehend that, so I appreciate it being laid out in that way. I feel horrible for all the kids she used and abused just because she didn’t have the guts to divorce her husband.

  Hearing that Gregory called out for his dog when he entered his home and then expressed concern about the dog’s safety after he was attacked is heartbreaking.

  I'm so glad you were able to use the words 'assault' and 'rape.' Most YT channels don't use these terms as the bots pick up on these and demonetise them (and often take down these videos). But it's so important that a spade is called a spade. Using any other 'soft' terms is like making the perpetrators sound like they stole a lollipop from a store, instead of inflicting one of the most horrendous types of abuse on a child/young person- something which affects their mental wellbeing for much of their lives! Good on you, Casefile.

  My mother once told me &quot;Adults should not confide in children. Children aren&apos;t responsible for adults&apos; problems,&quot; and now I&apos;m wondering if she had this case in mind when she said it. I would have been about four at the time.<br><br>I think it gave me a really strong sense of what good boundaries are in an adult/child relationship, and what crossing a line emotionally would look like.

  This case happened just up the coast from me (Massachusetts&apos; North Shore) and occurred as I was finishing high school. The reason Pamela Smart is still in prison and will never be let out is because she doesn&apos;t think she did anything wrong. Watching those kids broken down on the stand while she coldly &quot;who me?&quot;d her way through every event to this day demonstrates who she is. She&apos;s not sorry it happened, she&apos;s not sorry she put those kids through hell, she&apos;s not sorry Greg was murdered for her. She&apos;s just mad she&apos;s still in prison. Every few years she pops up again with her bs but she hasn&apos;t learned anything. I think she&apos;s just hoping that people will have forgotten the lives she ruined. I&apos;m glad the kids are all free now and able to go on with their lives. And I&apos;m ever more glad she isn&apos;t because I absolutely believe she would do it again.
