  This is my first exposure to Dr Allen. He strikes me as both very intelligent and yet still remarkably humble. He says in passing "...just because I have a large library doesn't necessarily mean I know what I'm talking about." That is the kind of comment you won't get from almost any well educated academics.

  The way James White talks is like he wants to win the argument by putting his opponent in the category of “not worthy to be playing in my sandlot” and not addressing his “opponent’s” points. He is attacking the PERSON and in essence this lets himself off the hook from defending his own theology. It’s the Twitter effect.

  Thanks for the video, gents. &nbsp;I had never heard about calvinism until a few years ago when a friend of mine attempted to show me in Scripture that total depravity was biblical (I didnt realize he was discussing TD until I researched the whole doctrine later)<br><br>My wife and I had just finished an inductive study on John, and I remember thinking to myself as my friend jumped back and forth between what I would later learn to be the major calvinistic proof texts (didn’t know it at the time) &quot;Oh, man, he doesn’t know how to read the Bible! How else could he come to the conclusions he is coming to?&quot; &nbsp;He actually said he was &quot;shocked&quot; that I would use John to refute calvinism, when it so clearly supported calvinism 🤦‍♂️<br><br>Fast forward to today, and my wife and I just wrapped up a 1-year study on the Kings and prophets (Kings, Chronicles, and all the minor prophets). &nbsp;The consistent themes throughout the entire Old Testament are:<br><br>1. God is good, righteous, compassionate, long-suffering, eager to forgive, just <br><br>2. God constantly calls His people to return to Him with their whole heart, to obey His commands, and to observe his statutes and ordinances<br><br>3. When people humble themselves, repent, and devote their hearts to Him, He not only forgives them, He also blesses them more than they can fathom<br><br>I know my comments don&apos;t really have anything to do with the topic of this video (loved it, btw), but I appreciate the work you are doing to expose the logical inconsistencies of calvinism. &nbsp;Calvinism is a direct afront to the holy character of God, and it saddens me when I see people so easily deceived by it.

  This concept is plain when you read all of Romans in 1 sitting, it’s what lead me out of Calvinism in the first place God Bless brother!

  Noticed the same thing a few months ago by asking 4 questions:<br>1. Who is speaking? God or a man.<br>2. Who is spoken to?<br>3. Why is something being said?<br>4. What is being said?<br><br>I started using these context questions when I did a study from Isaiah 39-57 to disprove the idea that Isaiah 52:13-53 is about Israel instead of Messiah.
