My daughter, a massive Supernatural fan, asked me if I knew Wayward Son. I sang it to her...she gained a WHOLE new respect for her old mom. I gained a new favorite show!!

To see these youngsters respond so passionately to the music I grew up with brought tears to my eyes.....literally....my generation did it right....sitting on the curb with a 9 volt transistor radio....damn, miss those days

Kansas toured with Queen and both bands liked and appreciated each other's music. This was the song that launched them into the legendary status they deservedly enjoy to this day.

How about that, everyone who saw this 50 year old classic timeless masterpiece song for the first time seems to have a smile on their face. It doesn't matter what nationality, color, tax bracket, age or gender it satisfies anyone, anywhere, anytime. Which i knew it would because some of us have known this song since it was released in the mid 1970's.

Thanks to one of the greatest shows on TV for making me a fan of this song. Carry on my Wayward son brought Supernatural to the forefront and made Kansas a household name. Everytime The Winchesters brothers were on and that song was playing, it was like lightning jn a bottle. I wish Supernatural would come back on TV. So that way we can hear that beautiful song again. Special thanks to Jensen Ackles. Jared Padelecki and the rest of the cast and crew of Supernatural past and Present for giving us one of the greatest soundtracks and shows in human history.
