  I'm a furniture maker in my country. The carving work is wonderful; the profiling of decorative lines is spectacular. The skill of the artisans is worthy of being replicated. This type of carving was done many years ago here in Chile, but due to economic policies, the country opened the door to imports, leaving artisanal work aside. My goal is to return to making these kinds of chairs and armchairs, but there are no carvers left. I was thinking of asking you for information on how to import these chairs and armchairs from your country, but at the end of the video, I see you putting nails in the mortise and tenon joints, as well as visible dowels in the corner joints. A real carpenter would cut off a hand before hammering a nail into a piece of furniture, or a dowel in plain sight. A nail is iron; what benefit besides rust can a nail bring? Visually, the fact that a customer sees the nail and dowel holes devalues ​​the transaction by 60 or 70%. Could you sell this chair disassembled? This one and other models you might offer? Not assembled, because I don't want nails or dowels visible, and besides, disassembled it takes up much less space in a container.
