Let's not forget that when public services are privatised to "reduce" national debt, the debt isn't really reduced. It's shifted to private pockets and increased.

The US goverment back then was just like the Russian goverment who they hated. And it's even worse now. Total corruption, and without respect for your own people and even less for the rest of the world. Look at who runs your country now.

Hey Greg. I'm a 63 years old Dutch grandpa. So I went to school in the Netherlands in the ( roughly) 70s and 80s. I started high-school in 1975. I was 12 years old. That first year, we all learnt about credit and debt. What a loan was. All sorts of life lessons. It was taught nation wide. In all schools. Those were the years we were taught towards adult life. Responsibility for instance.
