If you're going to buy 80s comics you need to buy the variants. The newsstand. The mark jewelers. Canadian price variant

In the 80's if you had $6.00 you could eat Taco bell and have enough gas to cruise until 3 am up and down the street . I loved going to the store parking lots and sitting outside with like 100 to 200 teen friends and having a great time . Kids today will never know how much fun we had . There was never a fear of crime police did not bug us heck they joined us and talked with us most of the cops were like in there 20s and we were like 16 to 19 so they fit right in with us. Times were so cool back then . Comics Spiderman X-men Hulk loved them all .

I love these episodes. I listen while working and always learn something new. Thanks for doing these longer format vids. I’m also a cover collector more than anything.

I was a 90’s kid, but the 80’s was the best decade for comics.

2:30 I can't believe how popular walkmans and discman were and now and never see them. Smart Phones have replaced so much culture.

Man, a blue oyster cult shirt. I love their song don't fear the reaper. He even mentioned Duran Duran on the new wave/new romantics bands. You guys spoke on 80s pop culture with so much gusto! The kids nowadays will not experience playing in the street, or just biking/skateboarding with friends and even play early computer games. Or just talking with each others for hours. Been an X-Men and Logan fans for so loooong. The writers and artists during the 80s are the best for me. The names you mentioned are the very fabrique/foundation, the legends for me! Not to hero worship any of them, though honestly with their individual and collective contributions warrants that, but give them all their due. Salute to you gents and to some of the ladies as well like Kahn, Javines, Simonson, etc. Crisis on infinite earth's and secret wars were both 'Mazing! If I will ever get a time machine, I will go back to the 80's!
