How would you respond to the tiny c-bet with top two and a player behind? Are you flat calling like the hero or raising now?

Yet another video example of "I don't usually play this way buuuuut-". I swear it's like 80% of callers, and I thought this guy sounded like a generally good player.

Caller says other two players are loose-passive and yet he is the loose-passive player. Most callers seem to not be able to properly label opponents and give themselves the poker pro title.

I love when callers act like they are some super pro and start deeming everybody else around them as “fish” when their actions and play show just how fishy they are. Too many 1/3 or 2/5 act like super pros because they’ve looked at a solver once or twice or watched a couple crushed live videos lol

Caller is a little mistaken. They play Ultimate-Ultimate at Oceans. Best possible hi hand (from either board) best possible low. Just like Vegas

Flop jam after button raise seems super obvious here. SPR is just too low to do anything else and we want to get it in against all the pairs/draws and combos before half the deck changes the nuts on the turn. Maybe theory calls here with the idea that blocking top two makes bluffs more likely, but I just don't think enough live players are bluff raising here ever, but I expect to see a lot of merges that don't want to see scare cards hitting the turn, and many of them are feeling pot committed after the raise.

Lower Stakes is crazy at times. Villain probably does this type of play all the time and has it work so often that it kind of pays. He almost won, having dropped the AA and almost dropping the two pair (on the flop). And if he did, nobody would know what his cards actually were.

Sometimes, it's good to be bad. ;-)

RE the double-board Omaha variants, my favorite is actually one we used to use in a home game I dubbed Oklahold'em (guess where I'm at? lol). Basically, each player gets two cards down, one card up, and the rest of the hand plays as it would in Omaha (2 hole cards + 3 community cards). I actually prefer this variant to Hold'em and Omaha. There's more strategy than in Hold'em because of the 3 cards/up card, but it's not as slow and complicated as the various Omaha variants.

These kinds of calls make the temptation of being results oriented hard to resist…

My guess is Jack Four Offsuit. Now I'll watch the video.

I haven't watched the end of the video yet but I can see Bart and caller talk 15 minutes about what to do on the flop and they go way to deep IMO. IMO, on the flop, you either call and reevaluate on the turn (the turn card and what the SB will do) or JAM right there to get called by worse (KK,QQ,AJ,QJ,J-9,10-9) but there is no raise. If caller raise, nothing will fold with high equity AKs, AQ, QJ, QQ, KK, 88, 9-10, 8-9 and will only put himself in a terrible position against half the deck on the turn.
