  The very first time that I saw myself without a filter and felt ugly, I stopped using filters. Period. The filters are giving us facial dysmorphia and making us have unrealistic ideals.

  Not to mention that makeup these days with contour, highlighter, and all the rest, is optimized for 2D, not 3D. People whose makeup looks perfect on camera just looks insane in real life - like soot smudges and body glitter.

  There are tons of examples of early "photoshop" Corsets painted out to have smaller waist.  Bigger hair drawn into photos. Its been a thing since day 1

  I think deleting tiktok und insta was the best desicion of my life. There is so much to explore in life and think about than looks. It’s so sad how people are so vain

  Honestly people have been so obsessed with presenting as beautiful and perfect, that they've ignored working on what really makes someone lovely. Our bodies are just dolled up shells that house us. A home thats lovely on the outside, but disgusting on the inside is only going to attract people for the day, nobody will actually stick around for long in a toxic mess no matter how beatiful.
