Moving a dead body is usually a 2 person activity.

I never realized just how many unsolved cases there are until I started watching this podcast how sad that this is unfortunately the reality and some of them seen easy to figure out but not enough evidence which is also so sad. I’m happy I found this podcast Derik. You do such a good job telling the stories and love how your heart seems to be in it every single week so thank you for that!!

Thank you for covering this case. A lot of people respond to these kinds of cases like "well, she was just a druggie." And that's just so painful. Cindy was a human being.

I live in a very polarized neighborhood that is filled with half extremely educated people and half people who are struggling, pretty much no middle class or in-between. A few years ago, a young woman who struggled with substance issues was murdered on the steps of my church, which is next to my apartment building. She was often hanging out on those steps, and she never asked me for money. She only ever asked me to pat my dog, who looked forward to seeing her and would run to her to get pats, and we would chat about our love for dogs. On Thanksgiving morning, someone shot and killed her, and I will never forget the responses of the more "educated" community being "well, she was just a druggie." She loved dogs, and my dog looked for her for awhile after she was killed. He didn't understand why she wasn't around.

I'll also never forget that on her next birthday, about 6 months after she was killed, the street crowd (primarily people with mental health and substance issues) decorated the steps where she died with a shrine and bulldog plushies to celebrate her birthday. They gave her memory the love and humanity that the people who considered themselves better than her refused to give. There have been no arrests in her case, either.

Her legal name wasn't what she went by or what I knew her as, which was Bella. And she was a beautiful soul that had some problems, yes, but she deserved to be remembered as so much more than just her issues. Thank you for helping the world learn about Cindy. I pray for justice for her and answers for her family, too.

She didn't take any of the items Jonas said She took. I don't believe there was a Man with a Polo that picked Her up.

When are folks ever going to realize that the old 'ever changing stories look' is never a good one.

Quick question/suggestion: can you please put the date back on the thumbnail? It’s helpful to see it right away in cold cases

I can only imagine how frustrating it has to be for law enforcement when the most plausible person to have committed the murder to die before they can get the information or evidence they need to have closure for the family.
