  For me the smoking gun is the trash chute. The fact that no effort was done to make any kind of slope proves that not even the slightest effort was made to perform basic functionality you would expect in buildings developed 100 years ago

  As an architect I will try and sum up the story of this trash can trophy building. A width to height ratio that is ridiculous and should never have received approval for construction from the NYU Building Department.
