  Their homeworld is so bad, that service in a Penal Legion is a privilege. The Chem Dogs are as close to Chaos Cultists that the Imperium gets.

  I can only imagine the face a Commisar would make when he asks who&apos;s tanks are doing such a wonderful job disrupting an enemy flank and gets told that they&apos;re from a PENAL legion. Presumably just after executing a tank crew that woke up one morning to find they somehow no longer had a tank.

  A thought occurs, if they steal whatever they can get their hands on, notably including the gear and vehicles of nearby allied units, the only thing preventing them from becoming a highly effective combined arms formation is their lack of a functional command structure. They are truly one charismatic leader from being an unstoppable force.

  As an addict in Recovery, the Chem Dogs are my favorite regiment. I love them and simultaneously find them really funny.
