  Fellow Alaskan here! I want to acknowledge the amount of forethought and respect you have for your daughter’s privacy and safety by not revealing her facial identity on YouTube. More parents should do the same for their child.

  I have to commend you folks on how you are raising your daughter.  Listening to her talk tells us that she is already older than her age.  Such a polite and kindhearted child she is.  Glad you are getting a lot of salmon. Be safe!

  So amazing: "It is still pretty early, 5 o'clock, Lena wanted pancakes", dad makes a fire and starts making breakfast. Lena is so lucky with parents like you, laid back but hard working.

  Lena is so lucky to be growing up in the environment that she has. Excellent parenting and learning so much from her mom and dad. She’s blessed. I grew up on my grandparents 80 acre farm out in the country I feel blessed to have had the childhood I did. I never felt like I was missing out on anything and neither will Lena.❤❤❤

  Hello, everyone. I’m surprised and impressed by how much the fish wheel yielded. It’s really a great amount. The same goes for the bountiful mushroom harvest. Of course, it requires a lot of work afterward—preparation, smoking, and canning. But alas, the season is passing quickly, and winter will be here before we know it. The whole family will have plenty of supplies. Your daughter is growing up fast, too—she seems to get taller with every episode. She’s truly a gift from Heaven; let’s give thanks.   These three individuals are absolutely amazing. Your daughter is so polite and respectful. The horses are doing such a good job and seem very mellow. The fact that you gave away 100 fish shows what good human beings you are. Loved the hawk wing mushrooms, they’re huge. Looking forward to moose season. Definitely one of my favorite Alaskan people. Thanks for sharing.

  Your editing is amazing. I'm a big fan of The Outdoor Boys videos. You show just enough to keep interest, then quickly move on to another clip, but they tell the story so well. It's cathartic, and I never fast-forward. That is talent.

  I've said it in the past, but anyone new here should binge from the beginning.  Just amazing!  I love this channel so much that I pause it several times just to hope I'm not close to the end.  Amy's cooking....OMG!!
