  I swear fallout 3 was the most chaotic fallout game just anywhere you go some random shit is happening between npcs fighting

  The reason you see so many NPCs fighting each other in Fallout is actually kinda interesting. Unlike 4 and New Vegas, it doesn’t have set spawn points, it has spawn regions, and multiple things can spawn within them. So you just have a way higher chance of two things that are on opposing “teams” spawn next to one another.

  My only complaint about the Fallout 3 uniques is I wish they had different models, outside of a few exceptions it seems like the only thing that sets them apart is their name and stats

  Samurai armor giving a flat +10 melee dmg means fast weapons get an ENORMOUS dps boost, especially rippers. Completely shifts the balance away from slow heavy fitting weapons

  That plasma pistol feels like an energy desert eagle. I don’t even mind it taking 2 shots, because energy cells are everywhere. <br><br>And that goo effect, so damn satisfying…

  The Terrible Shotgun + Bloody Mess perk used to micro-lag my old PC that barely ran Fallout 3 in 720p any time an enemy was about to turn into a nice pink cloud.<br>I kinda miss that.

  The Alien Blaster actually isnt a DLC weapon. It was an easter egg that you could walk to and get at anytime in the game. When mothership Zeta came out they put the start location where the blaster would be, making it so you had to beat the DLC to come back to the crater and get it. But if you disable the Mothership Zeta DLC you can still get the blaster from the crater without questing.

  The Perforator has always been one of my favorites. I never liked how inaccurate the regular assault rifles are in Fallout 3 so the first time I got the Perforator it was like a match made in heaven.

  I really love the Zhu-Rong pistol despite how ridiculously terrible it is, it has a lot of style points so killing big enemies with it is really fun
