  I’m in the discord for the investigation into it, i remember before they figured out the most recent code, the chats were chaos. I helped as much as I could, not much but I offered a few theories and whatever help I could. Also, incase it’s not mentioned, plushy was confirmed to not be a predator. I know it was a common theory so I just felt like I should mention that it was proven false. Jordan has stated “I always considered him a manifestation of children who were mistreated at home by their parents. They conjured up a grown up who actually nice to them and will protect them. He would never hurt a child in any sort of way. He’s Mr Roger’s with a few screws loose”

  as someone who had a very active imagination as a child/worked with young children for a long time. it would totally make sense the kids accidentally invented plushie. he is just the kind of scary playground horror story/folk tale that would be this horrible if actually viewed by adult eyes.

  The part of the "play me" tape with a doll of a woman laughing is actually a Laughing Sal animatronic! Its one of the oldest human-like animatronics, and was used outside rides or shops to gather attention from potential customers! She had a male counterpart, and there is still a real Laughing Sal at a boardwalk somewhere! (I forgot what boardwalk, sorry.)

  I think the reason this one works is you can automatically tell this is horrific in a way. While I have nothing against horror made for kids, Plushy's Playground just doesn't feel like it was made with children in mind. Plushy himself is super unsettling even in puppet form and it also feels authentic to people who tried to make kid-friendly stuff but made something oddly terrifying.

  Plushy is definitly a faerie of some kind because he exhibits the typical traits of one. The slide is his like his fairy circle (fey crossroad), he&apos;s serious about the rules that visitors need to follow while in his realm. He&apos;s a small old man who has powers that a person shouldn&apos;t have, and above all else fae in folklore are also known to kidnap children and take them to their realm. As for The bear man and the living bird puppet they&apos;re other faeries who inhabit his realm.<br>He&apos;s just like a boggart, boogeyman, or the Other Mother from Coraline.<br><br>Note:<br>It&apos;s not my original theory. I heard it from another person. I think it makes sense and that it’s unique for an ARG like this.

  Man I&apos;m just happy enough to see a new ARG that&apos;s actually interactive instead of just being a horror miniseries on YouTube people call an &quot;ARG&quot;. I love indie horror films but The Backrooms and The Oldest View are not &nbsp;ARGs.

  i&apos;m only ten mins into the video but i think what makes this pretty effective is the way it&apos;s portrayed as a bit of an urban legend. &quot;send your plushies down the slide and you&apos;ll get to meet plushy!1!&quot;<br><br>i remember as a kid trying to summon bloody mary in my bathroom mirror and i was scared shitless xd. but i think its also the way that there are actual kid (actors?) in this series which adds to it. and i HATE that elmo sitting in a sewage pipe, it reminds me of those old haunted furby videos youd see on youtube years ago lmaoo
