  question: how do you fit the story of an entire relationship -- start to finish -- into less than 10 minute montage with nothing but voice-over. answer: this brilliant short

  I'm impressed with Rachel Shenton. If you haven't seen her in the wonderful Oscar winning short film The Silent Child, see it.

  My interpretation is that the man, Alex, is imagining his future relationship with Jess unfold after he asks her out. He imagines everything, even the possible end of the relationship during his whole conversation with her, but at the end decides to ask her out anyway because the possibility of heartbreak will be worth it in the end, because having a relationship and losing it is better never taking a chance to get one.

  This made me cry. When two people can’t see what could truly be, it is sad. The foundation built was solid. The problem comes when they forget about what they were building. <br>Love given is a gift. We give it freely and with no conditions. <br>The magic happens when two give, but never take.<br>I hope whoever watches this sees an opportunity to see themselves differently.

  A lot of enlightening commentary here. One thing i saw missing was: when do you call yourself mature!? Relationship teaches you a lot but if you are immature, you don&apos;t learn anything. The story can have a very different &apos;future&apos; if the characters mature while their relationship lasts. Both will develop empathy and will be ready to meet at the middle.

  The juxtaposition of the initial meeting and the timeline leading to disaster was incredible for me. &nbsp;The last minute of the film, I was urging him in my mind to wipe the number off his arm, and continue on a different route, but I already knew......just a brilliant film

  This is absolutely stunning. &nbsp;The concept of telling and condensing the story is so creative and unique. &nbsp;The cinematography wonderful. &nbsp;Rachel and Chris... just amazing.

  Wouldn&apos;t it be great if we could have that kind of insight into a relationship on the first date, and trust our feelings about someone? &nbsp; Then again living is about the journey and not the destination.
