to date the fastest two stroke I have ever ridden was a scorpion whipp snowmobile from 1980! This thing had a 440cc twin two stroke that was putting out insane power!

As a teenager, I bought and raced a 1966 Bultaco Matisse (the yellow one). As I recall it was 238 CC, 36 to 38 HP at 9300 RPM. It handled beautifully. There wasn't another machine on the track that would beat it and just a small handful that would approach it. Most of my contemporaries were racing Harley Davidson Sprints. I don't recall being beat by one of them as long as I didn't fall down. When I did get beat it was because I was out ridden and not because I was out ran.<br>I believe they only produced this machine for two years. The 1965 had radial fins on the head.
