  hiiiii !! i am honestly shook that this video is doing so well for my first video essay! also double shook bc i forgot to add a description to the video, the seo never even had a chance lmaooo <br><br>i’m so happy to see all the comments and i feel like im actually in the part of the internet where i belong now 🥹<br><br>i’ll be posting another video this coming week, im aiming to post every thursday at 6:30pm (uk time). please sub and help me reach my goal of becoming monetized by the end of 2026! 🫶🏽🌱⭐️

  I agree but they definitely aren’t online. I know many people that are weird/quirky in real life, they just don’t seek validation from other people on social media or feel the need to share their hobbies. Phones are definitely the problem lol.

  Im still weird, but i dont post it online. We are in the real world and mostly keep things about us to ourselves. I dont need to broadcast it to the world.

  Those people get bullied relentlessly, institutionalized, or otherwise ostracized and isolated. Is it that society likes weird people or the idea of us. I think it’s the latter. Similar to the uncanny Valley, except the weirder we get the more we are disliked. There is no rising line at the end of the scale. Lots of people like to think that they like weird people, but not a lot actually do.

  “Weidness” is becoming the new norm imo. It’s becoming trendy. That’s what i noticed around campus especially with clothes and aesthetic. Of course for some it’s authentic but I believe most of them are just being performative.

  all the sitcoms and romcoms anywhere from the 90s to 2010s have multiple &quot;strange&quot; characters, all with their own personal style, weird hobbies, and things like that. This is what makes characters, and also people, loveable. Imagine a sitcom where every character had the same style, interests, and personality. That&apos;d be so boring, and unfortunately, it&apos;s what life has started to feel like.

  My weird(est, probably) thing is that I am a member of my local barbershop chorus! I am the only member under 30 and I think the average age is in the 60s lol, but it’s been a great way to get connected to the community after moving somewhere new for grad school. I have found that my niche of interests makes me an asset for my bar trivia team, I had quite the culture shock when I was the only person in the bar who knew about the CalArts style.
