  I love that you always say "this isn't for me" instead of "this is bad", especially when it's something we might consider weird to eat in Western countries. Too many people judge other cultures as "disgusting" when they see all these different foods and they really need to change their mindsets.

  This bowl of Pho in USA costs $20 USD, but in Vietnam, cost only $2.50 USD. What a deal!

  I tried pho for the first time, in Hanoi, when I was 15 years old. 20 years later it&apos;s still one of the more memorable meals I&apos;ve had in my life! (Love your street food content Karissa!)

  That lady dragging you to the train street lol, I recognize her. I live in that area, got grabbed by the shoulder by her once, apparently she thought i was a tourist and then immediately backed off when i started speaking pure Hanoian accent Vietnamese lol.

  I lived in Vietnam for several years in my 20s. When I first arrived after a TESOL course, before I started my teaching job I was very broke so I ate nothing but the cheapest street food I could find for the first several months! Lucky for me it was very easy to eat extremely well on very little money! Vietnamese food is still my favorite food in the world!

  I live in Huế, Việt Nam and the food every where is delicious, 1 dollar equals to 30 000 vnd so it’s pretty cheap. If you are going to visit Vietnam, try some of these foods: Bún bò Huế (in Hue); Phở (in Hanoi); bánh cuốn(Hue),bánh nậm(Hue);bánh lọc(Hue);bánh xèo or bánh ram ít (central vietnam), bánh khói(Hue), canh xương rồng(Quảng Bình or now called Quảng Trị); ram đẻn biển(Quảng Bình, I do not recommend trying canh xương rồng or ram đẻn biển for first try-ers); mì quảng(Quảng Nam); bánh hoa hồng trắng(in Hội An); bánh mì(common); bún chả( Hà Nội); cơm tấm( Sài Gòn). You can try more than these kinds only like for people in Vietnam they can eat Bún đậu mắm tôm. You can try a lot of drinks here to if you want, for a morning coffee I recommend cà phê trứng😊. I hope this will help people who wants to try Vietnamese food! 😊❤

  when you use something from the table that other people will use after you like to garlic, &nbsp;you can use the back side of your shopsticks to pick it up an not the side that you eat from
