Is auto detailing important long term, or a waste of time?

In this video we talk about the importance of auto detailing as a method of vehicle preservation beyond just a quick wash and wax. A subject that is very important to me and my constant desire to save older cars. On top of this we take care of a complete exterior detail on this beautiful BMW E30 Touring. The true gods chariot. What even is an M3? The car gets washed, clayed, and eventually full body wet sanded to remove a nasty layer of over spray covering the whole car. It is then cut and polished to prep it for a bunch of ceramic coatings.
